{"id":219485,"date":"2025-01-09T22:21:25","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T02:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/petrobras-and-prio-close-agreement-for-the-use-of-infrastructure-in-the-campos-basin\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T07:56:14","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T11:56:14","slug":"petrobras-and-prio-close-agreement-for-the-use-of-infrastructure-in-the-campos-basin","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/petrobras-and-prio-close-agreement-for-the-use-of-infrastructure-in-the-campos-basin\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrobras and PRIO close agreement for the use of infrastructure in the Campos Basin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On January 1, 2025, a strategic agreement was signed between <strong>Petrobras<\/strong> and <strong>PRIO<\/strong> and came into force, marking the cooperation between both companies for the transportation and processing of natural gas between both companies.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The agreements between Petrobras and PRIO<\/h2>\n\n<p>This agreement will allow <strong>PRIO<\/strong> to access the <strong>Integrated Natural Gas Collection System<\/strong> ( <em>SIE-BC<\/em> ) and the <strong>Cabi\u00fanas Gas Treatment Unit<\/strong> ( <em>UTGCAB<\/em> ), which will allow it to process natural gas from the <strong>Frade<\/strong> and <strong>Albacora Leste<\/strong> fields, located in the strategic Bacia de Campos.<\/p>\n\n<p>This collaboration is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/petrobras-natural-hydrogen-research\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"151763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Petrobras<\/strong><\/a> &#8216; efforts to comply with the provisions of the <strong>Gas Law<\/strong> , which seeks to strengthen a competitive and diverse energy market. According to Mauricio Tolmasquim, director of Energy Transition and Sustainability at Petrobras, this type of agreement contributes to the development of a more accessible natural gas market for multiple industry players. <\/p>\n\n<p>Under this agreement, <strong>PRIO<\/strong> will be able to use the pipeline infrastructure and treatment stations belonging to <strong>Petrobras<\/strong> , which will allow it to optimize the distribution of gas from its <strong>Frade<\/strong> ( <em>100% stake<\/em> ) and <strong>Albacora Leste<\/strong> ( <em>90% stake<\/em> ) fields.
