This facility stands out not only for its location, but also for its ability to generate <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/tallest-wind-turbine-in-the-world\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"192699\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clean energy at high altitude<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A high altitude solar plant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The second phase of the Huadian Xizang Caipeng photovoltaic power plant <strong>officially began operation on December 14, 2024.<\/strong> This stage has significantly increased the energy production capacity, with the facility now covering an area of 134 hectares and boasting an installed capacity of 100,000 kilowatts.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant is designed to generate 155 million kilowatt-hours annually, <strong>an amount sufficient to power 50,000 homes<\/strong> , directly contributing to energy stability in the region. In addition to its production capacity, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/solaria-a-solar-project-in-guadalajara\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"157041\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">solar project<\/a><\/strong> has a positive impact on the environment. Source: Ecoinventos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced technology for extreme conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The photovoltaic plant is equipped with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/sundrive-solar-and-trinasolar-solar-panels\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"203144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">state-of-the-art solar panels<\/a><\/strong>, which have a conversion efficiency 7.5% higher than those of the first phase. The panels are bifacial, <strong>which increases their efficiency by 20%<\/strong> compared to traditional panels.
