Developed by China Telecom Quantum Group (CTQG), the Center of Excellence in Quantum Information at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and QuantumCTek Co., Ltd., the system takes quantum processing power to new heights by incorporating a 504-qubit superconducting chip, dubbed Xiaohong.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pushing the boundaries of quantum computing<\/h2>\n\n<p>Tianyan-504 surpasses the 500-qubit mark, a key barrier in the evolution of <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/ibm-presented-powerful-quantum-computers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>quantum systems<\/strong><\/a> . According to experts, this computer is capable of matching, or even surpassing, international quantum platforms in crucial aspects such as qubit fidelity and lifetime.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Such advancements enable Tianyan-504 to be a centerpiece in the \u201cTianyan\u201d quantum cloud computing platform, which has already gained the attention of more than 12 million users from over 50 countries since its launch in November 2023.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boosting quantum science and technology<\/h2>\n\n<p>This achievement by CTQG demonstrates China\u2019s commitment to leading innovation in the quantum sector. Tianyan-504 not only has the potential to transform <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/ibm-inflection-in-quantum-computing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>quantum computing<\/strong><\/a> , but is also accessible via the cloud, giving researchers and companies around the world the ability to perform complex simulations and calculations.
