Stellantis has announced a strategic collaboration with Zeta Energy for the development of lithium-sulfur batteries<\/strong> . Lithium-sulfur batteries for greater electrical autonomy<\/h2>\n\n

Lithium-sulfur battery<\/strong> technology represents a step into the future, with the potential to deliver revolutionary gravimetric energy density. Not only will these batteries<\/a><\/strong> be lighter, but they will also enable greater range for electric vehicles<\/strong> , improving the experience for drivers and reducing concerns about limited range. <\/p>\n\n

Additionally, Stellantis highlights that this technology can improve fast charging speed by up to 50%<\/strong> , making EV charging more convenient and accessible, solving one of the key challenges of EV ownership.<\/p>\n\n

Economic and environmental advantages<\/h2>\n\n

Lithium-sulfur batteries also offer a much lower cost compared to traditional lithium-ion<\/a><\/strong> batteries. The cost per kWh is expected to be less than half the current price, making electric vehicles more accessible to consumers<\/strong> . This advancement has the potential to reduce production costs and will contribute to Stellantis\u2019 commitment to carbon neutrality by 2038<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n
