This study offers unprecedented insight into the microbial population in space, which could have important implications for the health and sustainability of long-term <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/the-sky-is-not-the-limit-virgin-galactic-resumes-human-spaceflight\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"84028\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spaceflight<\/a><\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>Another relevant project is the SpaceTED (Space Tissue Equivalent Dosimeter), which has been monitoring crew radiation exposure on the space station. This device, <strong>which has outlived its original six-month lifespan<\/strong> , has been successfully operating for 11 months, demonstrating the potential of student-developed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/assistant-robots-on-the-space-station\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"151208\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">space technology<\/a><\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, European researchers will be able to study 3D printed metal samples in microgravity conditions. This research, carried out in collaboration with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/human-hibernation-for-space-travel\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"150632\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Space Agency<\/a><\/strong> (ESA), seeks to improve manufacturing processes in space and could transform the production of parts and tools in future orbits. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Science and technology aboard SpaceX Dragon<\/h2>\n\n<p>The spacecraft&#8217;s return also includes the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axiomspace.com\/mission-blog\/ax2-spaceart\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.axiomspace.com\/mission-blog\/ax2-spaceart\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Space Art and Poetry Competition<\/a><\/strong> , an event that allowed students and educators from around the world to send their artwork into space. The winning creations <strong>were displayed on the station and will now be returned to their creators<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>With this mission, SpaceX continues to solidify its role as an essential partner to NASA in its goal of expanding the economy of low-Earth orbit.
