These vessels, designed for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/safety-maritime-transportation-of-hydrocarbons\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"155063\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transport of oil<\/a><\/strong> and chemicals, will be built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Dingheng using the latest efficient propulsion technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sirius Shipping opts for hybrid vessels  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new models, an update to the successful Saturnus and Mercurius, will incorporate innovative low-emission technologies and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/new-generation-hybrid-boats\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"139843\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hybrid systems<\/a><\/strong> that enable a significant reduction in fuel consumption. The integration of a 420 kWh hybrid battery for peak shaving and a 1,000 kW shore power system <strong>will enable the ships to conduct zero-emission operations in ports<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The hard work has paid off and we are very excited.
