This innovative agreement <strong>will allow 960 MW of wind energy to be integrated into the UK electricity grid<\/strong> , with the capacity to supply clean energy to almost one million homes. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connecting wind energy on a large scale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/cadeler-and-the-east-anglia-two-wind-farm\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/cadeler-y-el-parque-eolico-east-anglia-two\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm<\/a><\/strong> , located 32km off the coast of Suffolk, is a key part of ScottishPower Renewables\u2019 plan to <strong>expand offshore wind power generation capacity in the UK<\/strong> . Within this framework, Hitachi Energy will provide advanced onshore and offshore grid connection solutions using its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitachienergy.com\/es\/es\/sustainability\/econiq\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hitachienergy.com\/es\/es\/sustainability\/econiq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EconiQ technology<\/a><\/strong> to ensure reliable and flexible power, despite the inherent intermittency of wind power. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation and collaboration for sustainability<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishpowerrenewables.com\/pages\/east_anglia_two.aspx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.scottishpowerrenewables.com\/pages\/east_anglia_two.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">East Anglia TWO project<\/a><\/strong> is one of the most ambitious renewable energy projects in the region and forms part of wider efforts <strong>to achieve the UK\u2019s 2030 climate goals<\/strong> .
