It is a versatile fuel for application in industrial processes and maritime transport. <\/p>\n\n<p>In this partnership, European Energy will contribute its experience acquired with the construction of the first commercial e-methanol plant in Denmark, which will start operations at the end of 2024 and is expected to produce 32,000 tons of e-methanol per year.<\/p>\n\n<p>Brazil&#8217;s Petrobras aims to strengthen its leadership in clean energy and contribute to reducing emissions in the country. The <strong>plant in Pernambuco<\/strong> will be a benchmark in the country and will mark an important step forward in the decarbonization of the Brazilian industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>This agreement is part of <strong>Petrobras&#8217; Strategic Plan 2050<\/strong> , which aims to boost the development of cleaner and more sustainable energy. The e-methanol plant will not only contribute to reducing emissions, but will also allow Brazil to strengthen its productive capacity in renewable energy, becoming a key player in the global green fuels market. <\/p>\n\n<p>The partnership with <strong>European Energy<\/strong> and the development of the plant in Brazil reinforce Petrobras&#8217; commitment to the energy transition.
