{"id":209796,"date":"2024-12-27T17:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-27T21:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/?p=209796"},"modified":"2024-11-27T09:05:56","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T13:05:56","slug":"fuella-and-prumo-strengthen-green-ammonia-project-in-brazil","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/fuella-and-prumo-strengthen-green-ammonia-project-in-brazil\/","title":{"rendered":"Fuella and Prumo strengthen green ammonia project in Brazil"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Norwegian company <strong>Fuella<\/strong> , backed by <strong>Allianz Capital Partners<\/strong> , has signed an important agreement with <strong>Prumo<\/strong> and its subsidiary <strong>Porto do A\u00e7u<\/strong> to strengthen the strategy, structuring and development of the green ammonia project in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Fuella and Prumo green ammonia project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant was announced at <em>Prumo Day 2024<\/em> and will focus on the production of sustainable ammonia through water electrolysis, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, with estimates of starting operations at the beginning of 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Brazilian port complex has positioned itself as a strategic hub for the development of clean energy and the export of sustainable products to Europe. <strong>Prumo<\/strong> &#8216;s Executive Director of Business Development, Mauro Andrade, highlighted: &#8221; <em>This plant will be fundamental to reducing carbon emissions and promoting the use of sustainable energy both in Brazil and globally<\/em> .&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For his part, Dr. Thorsten Helms, Managing Director of <strong>Fuella<\/strong> , underlined the importance of the agreement: &#8220;<em>The existing infrastructure and the support of the Porto do A\u00e7u team were decisive. This project not only expands our international presence, but also represents a step forward in decarbonisation. <\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the support of the <strong>Port of Antwerp-Bruges International<\/strong> , both companies are seeking to establish A\u00e7u as <strong>a <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/fuel-green-ammonia-project-in-brazil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">green ammonia<\/a> export corridor<\/strong> to Europe.
