HSM Offshore Energy has consolidated its position as a leader in offshore infrastructure by unveiling the THOR OHVS substation<\/strong> at its facility in Schiedam, the Netherlands. This key component of Denmark\u2019s largest offshore wind farm<\/strong> , with a planned capacity of 1,058 MW, will transform the energy generated by individual turbines into high-voltage electricity for transmission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About THOR OHVS substation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project, in collaboration with RWE Renewables<\/a><\/strong> , stands out for its commitment to the energy transition<\/a><\/strong> . The green electricity collected by THOR OHVS will be transported via export cables<\/a><\/strong> to a land-based substation in Volder S\u00f8ndervang. This infrastructure will supply more than one million Danish homes<\/strong> , reinforcing the commitment to sustainability in Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HSM Offshore Energy is taking on the full scope of the EPCIC project, including the jacket foundation<\/a><\/strong> . Installation of these elements is scheduled for 2025, with operations planned for the last quarter of 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
