International shipping company CMA CGM<\/a><\/strong> has welcomed the FORT DIAMANT<\/strong> , a flagship vessel powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), designed to lead the transition towards more sustainable maritime transport<\/a><\/strong> . This modern vessel was built by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. <\/p>\n\n

The FORT DIAMANT, named after the iconic Guyana<\/a><\/strong> landmark, represents a significant advancement in CMA CGM\u2019s LNG-powered fleet. During its christening ceremony, which was attended by Lina Choi as godmother, its ability to drastically reduce carbon emissions<\/strong> and other pollutants compared to conventional vessels was highlighted. <\/p>\n\n
