The flight, conducted from Glentanner Airfield in New Zealand, was notable for exceeding established targets by reaching Mach 1.1 and setting a new climb record<\/strong> . The Aurora managed to climb to 20 km altitude in just 118.6 seconds, beating the legendary F-15 “Streak Eagle” by 4.2 seconds. This achievement consolidates the Aurora’s potential as an ultra-high performance aircraft and redefines the limits of experimental aviation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only does the Aurora Mk-II<\/a><\/strong> fly faster and higher, it is designed to perform multiple missions in a single day, reaching speeds of Mach 3.5 and reaching the edge of space<\/strong> .
