After more than 27 years of impeccable service in shallow water pipe laying, Allseas has announced the sale of its famous barge, Tog Mor<\/strong> . This vessel, renowned for its ability to handle challenging conditions and ensure stability in offshore operations<\/a><\/strong> , is saying goodbye to begin a new chapter following a successful salvage operation in Mexico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tog Mor and its legacy in offshore engineering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tog Mor joined the Allseas fleet in 1997<\/strong> and underwent a conversion between 2001 and 2002, optimising her for pipelaying<\/a><\/strong> and offshore construction duties. Her first assignment for the company was the Interconnector pipeline between Scotland and Ireland, but she did not stop there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has installed more than 400 kilometres of pipelines on coasts around the world.<\/strong> Equipped with a robust tension-holding capacity and St\u00fclcken masts, this vessel was part of important achievements such as the construction of the Maureen platform and the raising of the Mary Rose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
