This new-build vessel is designed to meet some of the most complex challenges of <strong>offshore turbine installation<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>With the ability to <strong>transport and install up to seven 15 MW wind turbines<\/strong> per load, Wind Peak is positioned as a key player in accelerating the transition to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/algae-for-renewable-energy-production\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"165293\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">renewable energy<\/a><\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wind Peak and the installation of offshore wind turbines<\/h2>\n\n<p>Wind Peak has sailed more than 14,000 nautical miles, making stops in Singapore, Cape Town, Las Palmas, and now Rotterdam, where she is preparing for her first deployment to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/deliver-sov-for-wind-energy-marine\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"181554\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offshore wind energy<\/a><\/strong> projects.<\/p>\n\n<p>With a <strong>lifting capacity of over 17,600 tons<\/strong> and a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/baldini-group-and-its-second-liebherr-crane\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"205314\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crane<\/a><\/strong> capable of lifting over 2,600 tons, this vessel is equipped to handle some of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/largest-wind-turbine-in-the-world-24-hours\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"110327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">largest wind turbine<\/a><\/strong> components in the industry.<\/p>\n\n<p>This vessel is designed to operate in the most demanding <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/loading-and-unloading-oil-tankers-offshore\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"101714\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offshore installation<\/a><\/strong> environments, allowing it to maximise efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of wind turbine installation. With the ability to transport multiple large turbines per voyage, the vessel significantly reduces the number of voyages required to complete large-scale renewable energy projects.
