This distinction highlights <strong>Statkraft<\/strong> &#8216;s commitment to integrating its solar installation into the natural and social environment, applying the highest standards of sustainability and circular economy. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Seal of Excellence in Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n<p>Inaugurated in January 2024, the Talayuela II plant has a capacity of 55.2 MWp and supplies clean energy to more than 34,000 homes. With an investment of nearly 34 million euros, the facility is equipped with 84,800 photovoltaic modules, spread over an area of 115 hectares. <\/p>\n\n<p>During construction, <strong>circular economy<\/strong> measures were implemented, achieving a recycling rate of <strong>90% of the waste generated<\/strong> , which has been highlighted by the external audit carried out by <strong>CERE<\/strong> ( <em>UL Solutions<\/em> ). This effort has allowed the Talayuela II plant to reduce the emission of <strong>21,000 tons of CO\u2082<\/strong> directly into the atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n<p>The impact of Talayuela II is not limited to its energy efficiency alone. During the construction phase, 200 jobs were created and priority was given to hiring local people, with 69 Talayuela residents directly involved in the work. In addition, purchases from local companies exceeded 350,000 euros, which has boosted the economy of the area.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Statkraft<\/strong> has integrated an <strong>Environmental Integration Plan<\/strong> into this project, which includes initiatives such as planting native species around the facility and creating a specialized habitat of 5,000 m\u00b2, with the aim of encouraging the reproduction of birds in the region.
