Its subsidiary, Interoil Colombia Exploration and Production ( <em>ICEP<\/em> ), has successfully completed an intervention downhole. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Viking oil production increases<\/h2>\n\n<p>The operation involved the installation of <strong>a jet pump<\/strong> with an improved operational configuration, which enabled production to reach 400 barrels of oil per day ( <em>bpd<\/em> ), from a previous level of 105 bpd, resulting in a successful operational intervention for the Norwegian oil company.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, <strong>production will stabilise at around 200 bpd<\/strong> . This increase optimises production, while reducing hydrocarbon extraction costs, registering significant operational efficiency for the company. <\/p>\n\n<p>Leandro Carbone, CEO of <strong>Interoil<\/strong> , expressed his satisfaction with the results: \u201c <em>This intervention reaffirms our confidence in the potential of our assets and our commitment to local communities<\/em> .\u201d This outlook improves the company\u2019s goals compared to recent quarters. <\/p>\n\n<p>The company continues to focus on sustainable growth, with an emphasis on environmental and social practices.
