Cadeler<\/strong> has confirmed the signing of contracts with ScottishPower Renewables<\/strong> for the transport and installation of 64 15 MW offshore wind turbines, as well as foundations, at the East Anglia TWO wind farm.<\/p>\n\n

East Anglia TWO Wind Farm<\/h2>\n\n

This project is located off the east coast of England in the North Sea, and will be carried out with the support of a contract valued between 360 and 382 million euros, with offshore operations expected to begin in 2027.<\/p>\n\n

The development of East Anglia TWO<\/strong> is part of the UK’s clean energy strategy, supported by funding allocated in the latest marine energy auction held in September 2024. ScottishPower Renewables<\/em> , a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group<\/strong> , is leading this project with an estimated capacity of 960 MW, enough to supply almost one million homes in the UK.<\/p>\n\n

To carry out the installation, Cadeler<\/a><\/em> will use one of its newly built A-class vessels<\/strong> , in addition to an O-class vessel<\/strong> from its current fleet, demonstrating the capacity and versatility of its vessels for large-scale projects.<\/p>\n\n

With our new constructions underway, we will be able to offer even more advanced solutions for complex projects.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n
