announced the successful completion of principal operations at Liberty Solar, a 134 MW ( <em>100 MWac<\/em> ) solar project located in Liberty County near Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Liberty Solar project that will benefit Texas<\/h2>\n\n<p>This project is a strategic addition that reinforces the commitment of <em>Recurrent Energy<\/em> and its corporate customers, such as <strong>Autodesk<\/strong> , <strong>Biogen<\/strong> , <strong>EMD Electronics<\/strong> and <strong>Wayfair<\/strong> , to a transition towards renewable and sustainable energy.<\/p>\n\n<p>Liberty Solar will power approximately 15,000 homes annually, expanding solar generation capacity in Texas and the <strong>Midcontinent Independent System Operator<\/strong> ( <em>MISO<\/em> ) market. \u201c <em>Liberty Solar is a project that symbolizes our mission to expand clean energy to meet our customers\u2019 sustainability goals<\/em> ,\u201d said Ismael Guerrero, CEO of Recurrent Energy.<\/p>\n\n<p>For the participating companies, this project represents a major step toward their environmental goals. <em>Autodesk<\/em> and <em>Biogen<\/em> , for example, highlighted the project\u2019s role in advancing their long-term sustainability commitments. \u201c <em>Investing in additional renewable capacity on the grid is essential to achieving more sustainable outcomes<\/em> ,\u201d said Joe Speicher, chief sustainability officer at Autodesk. <\/p>\n\n<p>Mark Stover of the <strong>Texas Solar Energy Association<\/strong> congratulated the
