Built at the Tersan shipyard in Turkey and designed by HAV Design in Norway, the ferries will offer an emission-free transport experience and will also mark a turning point in connectivity and sustainability in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/video-tv\/el-mf-estelle-navega-sin-capitan\/\" data-type=\"video-tv\" data-id=\"194891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">maritime transport<\/a><\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How will autonomous ferries work?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Each ferry will be equipped with two SCHOTTEL SRE 340 L-Drive <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/electric-ferry-will-change-concept-cruises\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"97740\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electric thrusters<\/a><\/strong> , specially designed to reduce both energy consumption and operating costs. These EcoPellers <strong>maximise hydrodynamic efficiency and eliminate the need for a top gear<\/strong> , thereby reducing mechanical loss and battery consumption.
