{"id":199181,"date":"2024-10-24T16:43:11","date_gmt":"2024-10-24T20:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/orbix-ndt-presents-at-asnt-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-10-24T18:18:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T22:18:56","slug":"orbix-ndt-presents-at-asnt-2024","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/orbix-ndt-presents-at-asnt-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Orbix NDT presents its NDE software platform at ASNT 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At the <strong>ASNT 2024 conference,<\/strong> Dan Tirabasso, co-founder and ML engineer at <strong>Orbix NDT<\/strong> , shared the progress and impact of the software platform, developed by the company, focused and designed to improve the operation of companies dedicated to <strong>Non-Destructive Testing<\/strong> ( <em>NDE<\/em> ).<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Orbix NDT NDE Platform<\/h2>\n\n<p>During the interview, Tirabasso explained that the <strong>Orbix NDE platform<\/strong> has been developed over five years, and its official launch took place in January of this year. It is currently operational in more than 45 projects throughout the United States. This innovative software allows field inspectors to send data to remote auditors, managing the information in a secure and structured way, which <strong>facilitates the digitalization of workflows<\/strong> in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/equipment-and-pipeline-service-life\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"168994\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NDE sector<\/a><\/strong> .  <\/p>\n\n<p>The platform incorporates artificial intelligence systems, such as data integrity, which ensures the veracity of <strong>industrial radiography<\/strong> ( <em>RT<\/em> ) data. In addition, the software supports multiple inspection modalities, such as <em>RT<\/em> and <em>VT<\/em> , with <strong>conventional ultrasound<\/strong> ( <em>UC<\/em> ) and <strong>eddy current<\/strong> ( <em>EC<\/em> ) coming soon. The solution is hardware-agnostic, meaning that companies do not need to invest in new equipment to take advantage of the system.  <\/p>\n\n<p>On the other hand, Tirabasso stressed that <strong>Orbix&#8217;s software<\/strong> is proprietary and was developed internally by a multidisciplinary team composed of Machine Learning Engineers, NDT Professionals and Business Solutions Architects. The goal has been to create a robust, secure and interoperable platform, but at the same time easy to use for operators in the field. <\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, Tirabasso invited interested companies to learn more about Orbix through its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orbixnde.com\/features\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">website<\/a><\/strong> , where they can schedule a personalized demonstration of the system.
