Island Drilling<\/strong> has announced the successful completion of its contract with Tullow Oil<\/strong> , off the coast of Mauritania. Plug and Abandonment<\/em> operations were carried out between August 16 and October 15, in water depths ranging from 208 metres to 1,200 metres, using Dynamic Positioning<\/strong> (<\/strong> DP<\/em> ) to maintain stability of the drilling rig. <\/p>\n\n

The Island Drilling and Tullow Oil project has been successfully completed<\/h2>\n\n

During operations, the company stood out for meeting all health, safety and environmental<\/strong> ( HSE<\/em> ) standards, and for achieving all key performance indicators<\/strong> ( KPIs<\/em> ) established for the project. Furthermore, it managed to complete the works within the established time frame and under the planned budget, reflecting its operational capacity and commitment to efficiency. <\/p>\n\n

The use of advanced technologies<\/strong> , such as the DP system<\/a><\/strong> , has allowed these offshore operations to be carried out with extreme precision, ensuring stable positioning of the platform even in complex maritime conditions.<\/p>\n\n
