The partnership is part of Google\u2019s efforts to achieve its goals of 24\/7 carbon-free power while contributing to the decarbonization of the US power grid. <\/p>\n\n<p>Kairos Power, a pioneer in advanced reactor technology, will develop and operate a fleet of nuclear power plants. These plants will supply sustainable electricity to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/google-google-heat-recovery-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"160801\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google\u2019s data centers<\/a><\/strong> , allowing the company to reduce its carbon footprint and ensure a constant supply of energy, without relying on variable sources such as solar or wind. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Google and Kairos Power accelerate nuclear energy with new plants<\/h2>\n\n<p>The agreement provides for the implementation of a series of plants in different strategic territories, with the first operational unit by 2030. Each new plant will allow Kairos Power to refine its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kairospower.com\/technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kairospower.com\/technology\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fluoride salt-cooled reactor technology<\/a><\/strong> , improving efficiency and reducing costs with each iteration.   <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Google is not just a customer, but a key partner that enables us to accelerate the commercialization of our nuclear technology.<\/p>\n<cite>  Said Mike Laufer, CEO of Kairos Power.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Google continues to lead the way in adopting <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/google-offshore-wind-energy-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"127045\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">innovative energy solutions<\/a><\/strong> .
