Anthony Veder has made a breakthrough in the maritime sector by becoming the first company to install VentoFoils<\/strong> on a<\/strong> gas carrier<\/a><\/strong> . By installing two of these sails on its Coral Patula vessel, the company is demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in maritime transport<\/a><\/strong> . This breakthrough is the result of a collaboration with Econowind, who provided the VentoFoils technology to power gas carriers with wind energy. <\/p>\n\n

Fuel savings with VentoFoils sails<\/h2>\n\n

This innovative system allows fuel consumption to be reduced by up to 10%<\/strong> under optimal wind conditions, which in turn reduces greenhouse gas emissions<\/a><\/strong> . Anthony Veder plans to implement the same technology on his Coral Pearl vessel<\/a><\/strong> later this year, as part of his strategy to reach net zero emissions by 2035. <\/p>\n\n
