This robot, designed by Dorothy, a high school student, aims to combat deforestation by planting trees. <\/p>\n\n

Dorothy explained that she was inspired by pangolins because of their curious appearance and behavior. <\/p>\n\n

These animals spend a lot of time digging in the ground, which made me think that a robot with the same characteristics would be ideal for planting trees.<\/p>\nHe commented. <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

Thus, his proposal was selected from 184 designs<\/strong> , and a functional version of the robot<\/a><\/strong> was created at the University of Surrey.<\/p>\n\n
