This innovative concept combines the advantages of maritime navigation with the speed of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/archer-red-of-air-taxis-in-los-angeles\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"178748\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">air transport<\/a><\/strong> , all without the need for infrastructure such as runways or ports. <\/p>\n\n<p>The program, backed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/northrop-builds-aircraft-xrq-73-for-arpa\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"177636\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DARPA<\/a><\/strong> (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), aims to build a large-wing aircraft <strong>capable of operating over the ocean and carrying up to 50,000 pounds of cargo<\/strong> . Source: Aurora Flight Sciences <br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High-level technological collaboration for the Liberty Lifter<\/h2>\n\n<p>Aurora has partnered with Gibbs &amp; Cox, a renowned naval engineering firm, to develop an amphibious <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/aircraft-archer-achieves-400-test-flights\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"185793\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aircraft<\/a><\/strong> that can <strong>take off and land in harsh maritime conditions<\/strong> .
