These sea gliders can reach a speed of up to 290 km and cover up to almost 300 kilometers of distance on a single charge, promoting <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/lilium-electric-plane-with-vertical-take-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"125468\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electric mobility<\/a><\/strong> in areas with high demand for regional transportation, such as Miami and San Juan. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Billy Thalheimer, CEO and co-founder of <strong>REGENT<\/strong> , this agreement with UrbanLink will allow millions of people in these areas to enjoy comfortable and sustainable transportation. The Seagliders are designed to operate using existing port infrastructures, facilitating the integration of these vehicles into a multimodal ecosystem that integrates maritime and air transport. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>UrbanLink<\/strong> President Ed Wegel highlighted that this collaboration furthers their mission to offer zero-emission regional travel by integrating electric gliders with other advanced solutions such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/first-evtol-of-hydrogen-liquid-of-the-world\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"166604\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eVTOL jets<\/a><\/strong> .
