<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/the-apollo-program\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/the-apollo-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apollo program<\/a><\/strong> program took us to the Moon to explore.\nArtemis will take us again, but this time to stay.\nOur oxygen extraction technology is critical to making that sustainable future a reality.&#8221;  <\/em>  He stated.<\/p>\n\n<p>Sierra Space&#8217;s system underwent rigorous testing, where it <strong>faced extreme temperatures ranging from -45 \u00b0C to 1,800 \u00b0C.<\/strong> Despite the challenging conditions, the reactor was able to handle the simulated regolith, an extremely abrasive material, demonstrating its ability to operate in real Moon conditions.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sierra Space advances towards a habitable Moon<\/h2>\n\n<p>This breakthrough has significant implications for the survival of astronauts on the Moon. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/pneumocell-presented-inflatable-habitats-to-house-astronauts-on-the-moon\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"69233\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer
