This platform, driven by Cordant<\/a><\/strong>This platform, powered by Cordant, offers comprehensive risk management and support for real-time regulatory reporting.\nWith this tool, Baker Hughes becomes the first provider to offer a <\/strong>fully integrated digital solution <\/strong>for CCUS projects. <\/p>\n\n

CarbonEdge provides an intuitive dashboard and accurate real-time data, allowing users to monitor carbon dioxide<\/strong> (CO\u2082) flows<\/strong> across the entire CCUS infrastructure, from capture and compression to transport and subway storage.\nIn addition, this connectivity allows customers to identify and manage risks, optimize operations and simplify regulatory reporting. <\/p>\n\n

Baker Hughes technology <\/strong>excels in its ability to integrate risk management and regulatory reporting into the CO\u2082 measurement, monitoring and verification(MMV<\/em>) process.\nThis is made possible by the engineering expertise and domain knowledge the company has developed over the years in surface and subsurface planning and operations.\nCarbonEdge also integrates with Baker Hughes’ subsurface and autonomous modeling solutions, providing detailed workflows to characterize storage sites and ensure an efficient and safe process. <\/p>\n\n

The launch of CarbonEdge is supported by a partnership with Wabash Valley Resources<\/a><\/strong>(WVR<\/em>), a company specializing in ammonia fertilizer production of low-carbon ammonia fertilizers.<\/a><\/strong> ammonia fertilizers.\nThrough a long-term agreement, WVR will use CarbonEdge to measure, monitor and verify the volumes of CO\u2082 collected and sequestered underground. <\/p>\n\n
