ACS3 uses reflective panels that, when driven by the sun&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/device-hydrogen-from-sunlight-from-sunlight\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"93393\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sunlight<\/a><\/strong> The ACS3 uses reflective panels that, when driven by sunlight, allow the spacecraft to perform maneuvers without the need for chemical fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of this mission is to <strong>demonstrate the operation of the deployment and attitude control of the <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/space-propulsion-with-solar-sails\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/space-propulsion-with-solar-sails\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">solar sails<\/a><\/strong>. Source: NASA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future operations and orbit control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, mission engineers are analyzing data on the spacecraft&#8217;s flight dynamics. <strong>The next step is to stabilize the spacecraft using the attitude control system<\/strong>, which will stop the wobbling motion. Due to the spacecraft&#8217;s rotation, its visibility and brightness can vary, offering a unique visual experience in the night sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With four wide-angle cameras aboard CubeSat, <strong>NASA continues to<\/strong> <strong>receive images and data that will help refine the solar sail system<\/strong>.
