truck<\/strong>, which promises a range of up to 600 km on a single charge.\nThe new Volvo FH Electric will be available in the second half of 2025. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Volvo&#8217;s new electric truck<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>electrification of heavy trucks<\/strong> continues to advance globally, now making it possible to travel longer distances.\nIn 2025, Volvo will launch a version of the <strong>&#8220;FH Electric truck&#8221;<\/strong> with a range of 600 kilometers on a single charge.\nThis will enable transport companies to operate electric trucks on inter-regional and long-distance routes, completing a working day without the need to recharge.    <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Our new electric flagship will be a great complement to our wide range of electric trucks and will enable exhaust emission-free transport also for longer distances.\nIt will be a great solution for transport companies with high annual mileage on their trucks and with a strong commitment to reduce CO\u2082. <\/p>\n<cite>Roger Alm, President of Volvo Trucks.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>The 600 km range is made possible by <strong>Volvo&#8217;s new drivetrain technology<\/strong>, known as the<em>&#8220;electric axle<\/em>&#8220;, which allows for greater on-board battery capacity.\nThrough the improved battery management system and overall efficiency, they allow the propulsion system to contribute to a longer range. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Volvo<\/strong> is the world leader in medium and heavy-duty electric trucks, with eight electric models in its portfolio.\nThis broad range makes it possible to electrify urban and regional distribution, construction, waste management and, soon, long-haul transport.\nTo date, Volvo has delivered more than 3,800 electric trucks to customers in 46 countries.  <\/p>\n<div
