{"id":186335,"date":"2024-09-06T16:26:50","date_gmt":"2024-09-06T20:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/puct-denies-texas-energy-funds\/"},"modified":"2024-09-06T17:04:30","modified_gmt":"2024-09-06T21:04:30","slug":"puct-denies-texas-energy-funds","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/puct-denies-texas-energy-funds\/","title":{"rendered":"PUCT denies Texas Power Funds loan program application to NextEra and Aegle Power"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Public Utility Commission of Texas <\/strong><em>(PUCT<\/em>) has denied <strong>NextEra and Aegle Power<\/strong> &#8216;s application submitted to the <strong>Texas Energy Fund <\/strong><em>(TEF<\/em>) Loan Program, part of the <strong>In-ERCOT<\/strong> generation project.\nThis application was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/interchange.puc.texas.gov\/Documents\/56896_53_1425453.PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">denied<\/a><\/strong>The application was denied after failing to comply with due diligence requirements.\nIn addition, <strong>NextEra Energy<\/strong> clarified that it is not involved in this application.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rejection of Texas Energy Funds<\/h2>\n\n<p>PUCT Executive Director Connie Corona indicated that<em>&#8220;they are still far from selecting a company to receive TEF funds<\/em>&#8221;
