AtoB@C Shipping celebrated the<\/strong> christening of its second plug-in hybrid vessel<\/a>, the Stellamar<\/strong>, in Ystad, Sweden .<\/strong> This event marked a significant achievement for the company, as it was the first time one of its vessels was christened in its hometown.<\/p>\n\n

The ceremony was given a personal touch when Stella Rowland and Stella Passinen, daughters of key figures from AtoB@C Shipping and Mets\u00e4 Group, had the honor of naming the Stellamar.\nThis new-generation vessel stands out for its ability to reduce CO2<\/sub> emissions<\/a> by up to 50%,<\/strong> thanks to advanced technologies such as grid connection and an extensive battery installation.\nIn addition, its quieter and cleaner operations in port underscore the company’s commitment to sustainability. <\/p>\n\n

Fleet expansion with plug-in hybrid vessel<\/h2>\n\n

Designed to carry bulk and breakbulk cargoes, the Stellamar<\/strong> has an unobstructed deck that allows it to carry larger cargoes.<\/strong> This is the second in a series of innovative vessels, with others on the way such as the Ecomar<\/a><\/strong> and the Aquamar<\/strong><\/a>that will strengthen AtoB@C Shipping’s AtoB@C Shipping’s fleet.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n
