Boru Hatlar\u0131 ile Petrol Ta\u015f\u0131ma A\u015e (BOTA\u015e), Turkey’s state-owned company, has signed a liquefied natural gas<\/strong> (LNG) supply contract<\/strong> with Shell International Trading Middle East Fze.\nThis agreement, which will have a duration of ten years, will enable Shell<\/strong><\/a> supply up to 4 billion cubic meters of LNG per year to BOTA\u015e, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. <\/p>\n\n

The agreement, signed by Abdulvahit Fidan, CEO of BOTA\u015e, and Tom Summers, Shell’s senior vice president of liquefied natural gas marketing and trading, was celebrated at a ceremony attended by Alparslan Bayraktar, Turkey’s minister of energy.\nDuring the event, the minister emphasized the importance of diversifying sources of natural gas. sources of natural gas<\/a><\/strong> to offer energy at more competitive prices and strengthen the country’s energy infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n
