Ocean delivers first LNG carrier to GasLog"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On August 23, Hanwha Ocean celebrated the delivery of the <em>GasLog Italy<\/em>, a <strong>state-of-the-art liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier<\/strong>, to its Greek owners under GasLog&#8217;s management.\nThis vessel is the first of four the company is scheduled to deliver between 2024 and 2025, each with a cargo capacity of 174,000 <sup>m3<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GasLog Italy: a state-of-the-art liquefied natural gas carrier<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <em>GasLog Italy<\/em> is powered by two HP-2S MEGI engines, a technology recognized for its efficiency and low environmental impact.\nIn addition, it features two shaft generators, an air lubrication system (ALS) that improves fuel efficiency, and a full reliquefaction system (FRS) that allows for optimal handling of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/kotug-support-gnl-project-from-eni-congo\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"183419\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LNG<\/a><\/strong> during transport. <\/p>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:7234171685724184576?compact=1\" height=\"399\" width=\"710\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Integrated publication\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p>The vessel, 294.9 meters long and 46.4 meters wide, was officially christened on July 10 in a ceremony at Hanwha Ocean&#8217;s shipyard in Geoje, South Korea.\nDuring the ceremony, Mrs. Ilaria Azzimonti, Head of Eni S.p.A.&#8217;s LNG Portfolio, acted as godmother, sealing the event with the traditional breaking of a bottle of champagne over the vessel&#8217;s
