Heerema Marine Contractors<\/strong> announces the successful installation of the 64 monopile foundations for the He Dreiht offshore wind farm, the largest in Germany.\nThis project is led by EnBW, and is notable for its scale and importance in Europe’s energy transition. <\/p>\n\n

To achieve this, using its iconic Thialf semi-submersible crane vessel<\/strong>, Heerema was able to install each of the 70-meter-long, 1,350-ton monopiles, along with the transition pieces, in a record time of 24 hours per location.\nThe efficiency of the Thialf<\/strong>, in conjunction with the noise reduction achieved through T-NMS-10000 technology and a feeder barge system, became the key agents for the success of the project. <\/p>\n\n

Michel Hendriks, director of operations at Heerema<\/strong>, expressed his pride in the team’s performance, stressing that“we have set a new standard in monopile installation, both in terms of performance and environmental friendliness<\/em>.”\nJ\u00f6rn D\u00e4inghaus, project manager for He Dreiht<\/strong> at EnBW<\/strong>, praised the collaboration between the Heerema <\/em>and EnBW<\/em> teams, highlighting the professionalism and dedication that made this historic event possible. <\/p>\n\n
