Dutch-Norwegian company SolarDuck <\/strong>has announced that its Offshore Photovoltaic Demonstration Plant<\/strong>(OFPV<\/em>) in Tokyo Bay, known as Teal<\/em>, has successfully passed its first severe weather test.\nOn August 16, Typhoon Ampil <\/em>hit the region near Tokyo, causing strong winds and heavy rain.\nDespite these adverse conditions, SolarDuck’s floating solar power plant<\/strong> proved highly resilient to the adverse weather event. <\/p>\n\n
