The Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr St\u00f8re, officially inaugurated the Morrow Batteries gigafactory<\/a> in Arendal, Norway<\/strong>.\nThis plant, the first of its kind in Europe, is a significant step towards consolidating the region as a leader in the production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.<\/a><\/strong> (LFP) <\/p>\n\n

The factory, which has already begun trial production, has the capacity to manufacture up to 3 million battery cells per year<\/strong>, equivalent to 1 GWh of capacity.\nMorrow plans to work closely with its customers to refine the production equipment and ensure optimum quality before starting commercial production later this year. <\/p>\n\n
