blend, composed of 30% hydrogen-treated vegetable oil (HVO) and 70% marine gas oil (MGO). <\/strong>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/resigras.es\/que-es-el-hvo-y-por-que-podria-ser-el-combustible-del-futuro\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/resigras.es\/que-es-el-hvo-y-por-que-podria-ser-el-combustible-del-futuro\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HVO<\/a><\/strong>a high-quality renewable diesel, is produced from waste materials such as used cooking oil.\nIn addition, this fuel is certified under the ISCC scheme, which guarantees its sustainability.\nThis change has led to a 26% reduction in the vessel&#8217;s<sub>CO2e<\/sub>emissions, representing a major achievement in Van&#8217;s efforts to minimize its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/hapag-lloyd-reduced-your-carbon-footprint\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"141875\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">carbon footprint.<\/a><\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Norway&#8217;s Stornes vessel leads the way in sustainable development  <\/h2>\n\n<p>This successful deployment underlines Van Oord&#8217;s commitment to sustainability in the maritime sector <strong>and marks its first biofuel delivery in Norway. <\/strong>With this, the company expands its operations towards more sustainable fuel use in new locations.\nVan Oord continues to be a pioneer in the adoption of clean technologies and the promotion of sustainability in <strong><a
