Biomargas has announced an investment of 60 million euros for the creation of two new biomethane plants<\/strong> in C\u00f3rdoba, in the municipalities of Cabra and Castro del R\u00edo.\nThese new facilities will focus on the transformation of agricultural and livestock waste into renewable energy and organic fertilizers, contributing to the development of a circular and sustainable economy in the region. <\/p>\n\n

A breakthrough for waste management and the local economy<\/h2>\n\n

The construction of these plants is important for C\u00f3rdoba, as it introduces a technology that allows the efficient management of agricultural and livestock waste.\n Biomethane<\/strong>, produced from these wastes, is a renewable natural gas that offers a valuable energy yield<\/em> while minimizing environmental impact.\nIn addition, the production process will generate organic fertilizers, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers and improving agricultural productivity in the region. <\/p>\n\n

Luis del Barrio, who leads the Biomargas strategy, has highlighted the importance of this project, stressing that it will bring economic benefits, and provide the community’s farmers and ranchers with tools to manage their waste more efficiently.\nAccording to del Barrio,“these initiatives demonstrate how innovation and sustainability can generate both economic progress and environmental improvements<\/em>.” <\/p>\n\n
