McDermott has secured an EPCI contract <\/strong>awarded by Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited.\nThis agreement is in connection with the development of the gas field<\/a><\/strong> Manatee gas field, located 100 km southeast of Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago<\/a><\/strong>.\nThe contract was awarded to McDermott following the successful completion of the initial engineering design and detailed planning for the execution of the project. <\/p>\n\n

The company will assume responsibility for the design, manufacture and connection of a gas platform<\/a><\/strong>platform, as well as installing a gas pipeline<\/a><\/strong> 32-inch gas<\/strong> pipeline linking the platform to a gas processing plant operated by Shell.<\/strong> The scope of the project also includes the installation and testing of a fiber optic cable, reinforcing the communications infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n

Mahesh Swaminathan, senior vice president of Subsea and Floating Installations at McDermott, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, stressing that the contract highlights the company’s integrated capabilities in executing complex offshore projects.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n
