market, was the production plant for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/natural-gas-plant-construction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">renewable natural gas (RNG)<\/a><\/strong> at the Ash Grove Dairy farm in Minnesota.\nIt now injects the quality RNG it produces into the interstate natural gas pipeline network.\nThis represents a significant advance in the company&#8217;s mission to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/the-decarbonizing-maritime-transport\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"176014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decarbonize transportation<\/a><\/strong> through the generation and distribution of clean energy.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The process of obtaining renewable natural gas<\/h2>\n\n<p>The facility, located on the 55-acre dairy farm that houses more than 2,000 cows, is <strong>capable of processing 60,000 gallons of manure per day.<\/strong>\nThis material is converted into <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/gasum-will-no-longer-sell-natural-gas-stations\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"177705\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biogas<\/a><\/strong>which is then transformed into high quality, renewable natural gas, ready to be injected into the interstate network of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/new-gas-pipeline-repair-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"140384\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pipeline network<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Once the facility reaches full capacity, it is expected to <strong>produce up to 480,000 gallons of gasoline equivalent (GGE) of LNG per year<\/strong>, with a negative carbon intensity, marking a notable contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction.<\/p>\n\n<p>Financed by a $22 million investment, the project was developed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dynamic-renewables.com\/phase1-facilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dynamic Renewables<\/a><\/strong>a joint venture of Clean Energy.\nThe infrastructure has not only passed all required gas tests, but is now operational, beginning to supply NGVs to Clean Energy&#8217;s network of refueling stations, which serve commercial transportation fleets throughout the United States and Canada. <\/p>\n\n<p>Clay Corbus, senior vice president of Clean Energy, highlighted the importance of the project by stating:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Ash Grove is our fifth NGV facility to come online in the past nine months.\nThese types of developments are crucial in our efforts to reduce carbon emissions and meet the growing demand for sustainable fuels. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RNG and methane emissions<\/h2>\n\n<p>RNG produced at Ash Grove will help mitigate methane emissions. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/pemex-reduces-methane-emissions\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"161524\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emissions of methane, a potent greenhouse gas<\/a><\/strong>a potent greenhouse gas, contributing significantly to the fight against climate change.\nAgriculture is responsible for nearly 10% of GHG emissions in the United States and capturing methane from agricultural waste is a key strategy to reduce these numbers. <\/p>\n\n<p>Used as a fuel, it has the capacity to reduce emissions throughout its life cycle, compared to conventional fuels such as diesel.<\/p>\n\n<p>This project underscores Clean Energy&#8217;s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the energy sector, positioning the company
