China has taken a significant step in the expansion of low-altitude tourism with the successful demonstration flight of the AS700 manned airship.<\/strong>\nThis airship, developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), took off from Zhanghe Airport in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, to showcase its capabilities in tourism flights. <\/p>\n\n

AS700 Technical Specifications<\/h2>\n\n

The AS700 is a non-rigid airship with a capacity of 10 persons<\/strong>, including the pilot.\nThis aerial vehicle<\/a><\/strong> has a maximum take-off weight of 4,150 kg and can fly up to 700 km with an autonomy of 10 hours.\nIts design allows takeoffs and landings in restricted areas, making it ideal for scenarios where mobility and flexibility are essential. <\/p>\n\n

The demonstration flight, which lasted almost two hours, allowed passengers to enjoy breathtaking aerial views thanks to its large panoramic windows.\nWith a speed of 60 km per hour and flying at an altitude of 500 meters, the AS700 perfectly simulates a sightseeing tour of parks, islands and other points of interest in the region. <\/p>\n
