{"id":177529,"date":"2024-08-06T15:57:54","date_gmt":"2024-08-06T19:57:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/ogdcl-and-the-discovery-of-gas-condensate\/"},"modified":"2024-08-06T16:05:24","modified_gmt":"2024-08-06T20:05:24","slug":"ogdcl-and-the-discovery-of-gas-condensate","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/ogdcl-and-the-discovery-of-gas-condensate\/","title":{"rendered":"State-owned oil company OGDCL announces gas condensate discovery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Oil and Gas Development Company of Pakistan Limited<em>(OGDCL<\/em>) has reported a major new <strong>gas condensate discovery<\/strong> at its Razgir-I exploration well, located in Kohat district, within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The discovery of gas condensate in Pakistan<\/h2>\n\n<p>This find comes from the <strong>Kawagarh-I formation<\/strong> and is the result of a joint effort by TAL, which includes OGDCL (30% interest), MOL Pakistan Oil &amp; Gas as operator (10%), Pakistan Petroleum Limited<em>(PPL<\/em>)<em>(<\/em>30%), Pakistan Oilfields Limited<em>(POL<\/em>) (25%) and Government Holdings Private Limited (GHPL) (5%).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Drilling of the Razgir-I well<\/strong> commenced on January 9, 2024, reaching a depth of 3773.98 meters below ground level.\nBased on wireline log interpretation, the presence of gas in the Kawagarh-I formation was confirmed. <\/p>\n\n<p>The tests performed yielded positive results, with a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/demand-for-gasoline-from-iran-agota-production\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"139462\">gas production <\/a><\/strong>of approximately 16.4 million standard cubic feet per day<em>(MMSCFD<\/em>) and 159 barrels per day (BPD) of condensate, at a choke size of 40\/64&#8243;
