This year, Norway’s Ullevaal stadium set a record by hosting the world’s largest vertical rooftop solar installation<\/a>,<\/strong> implemented by Solenergi FUSen.\nWith a capacity of 248.4 kWp, this installation stands at the pinnacle of solar innovations, standing out as the largest of its kind globally. <\/p>\n\n

The project was completed in a matter of days, taking advantage of the existing bitumen structure on the roof of the stadium, which allowed for a quick and efficient mechanical installation.<\/p>\n\n

The installation, consisting of 1,242 solar panels 200 Wp bifacial<\/a><\/strong> panels, is designed to capture as much sunlight as possible and is estimated to produce around 219,000 kWh of clean energy each year<\/strong>.\nThis significant amount of renewable energy not only reduces the stadium’s carbon footprint, but also sets a new standard in energy efficiency for sports facilities. <\/p>\n
