project manager, Thomas Leize, emphasized that this will be the first project of its kind in the pre-salt.
Leize explained that the selection of TCP technology was made with the objective of replacing the flexible lines in operation, focusing on durability, performance and carbon footprint reduction.
He noted that this technology offers a competitive solution to long-lasting corrosion problems, essential for ultra-deepwater operations.

How will the TCP flow line work?

The Strohm TCP flowline, with an inside diameter of 6 inches and a design pressure of 600 bar, will be used for gas injection at depths of 2200 meters.
In addition, the installation will be performed using a pipe-laying support vessel. pipe-laying support vessel (PLSV)(PLSV), similar to those currently operating in Brazil.

Strohm CEO Martin van Onna noted that the relationship with TotalEnergies dates back to 2009, when they started receiving support from the company.
Van Onna mentioned that TotalEnergies installed a TCP bridge in the Egina field, and now they enter into this TCP flowline contract, considered a “definitive solution” for the industry.
Moreover, he thanked TotalEnergies for their confidence in Strohm’s technology and equipment, anticipating the successful installation of these flowlines.

Strohm TCP offers a robust and corrosion-free solution for operators, with a low carbon content.
TCP flowlines are manufactured and shipped in long, continuous lengths, allowing fast and efficient installation on both PLSVs and smaller vessels using the common horizontal lay method.

Follow us on social networks and don’t miss any of our publications!

Source and photo: Strohm

This is the first time TCP technology has been used for ultra-deepwater flowlines, according to Strohm.

[13026,13036

post-175716","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-oil-and-gas
["GET
