The Australian company has informed the relevant authorities and an investigation is currently underway to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atlantic Lithium continues to make progress in Ghana<\/h2>\n\n<p>The project is also set to become the first lithium operation in Ghana. <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlanticlithium.com.au\/projects-ghana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first lithium operation in Ghana<\/a>\n<\/strong>following Atlantic&#8217;s award of a 15-year permit in October last year. Half of the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/video-tv\/litio-en-bolivia-aumentara-acuerdo-china\/\" data-type=\"video-tv\" data-id=\"123676\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lithium production<\/a>\n<\/strong> from Ewoyaa will be sent to a refinery owned by U.S.-based Piedmont Lithium, which is Atlantic&#8217;s second largest shareholder and has agreed to largely finance the mine&#8217;s construction.<\/p>\n\n<p>In terms of production, the company plans to generate a total of 3.6 million tons of spodumene concentrate, equivalent to 350,000 tons per year, over a 12-year period at the deposit.
