This has been achieved at Navantia-Windar&#8217;s monopile plant, located at the Fene shipyard in A Coru\u00f1a, Spain.<\/p>\n\n<p>Under a contract signed at the beginning of 2023 with ScottishPower Renewables, the British subsidiary of <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/iberdrola-first-hybrid-plant-of-spain\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"100950\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iberdrola<\/a>\n<\/strong>the Navantia-Windar consortium is in charge of delivering <strong>45 monopiles for the<\/strong> 1.4 GW <strong>East Anglia Three offshore wind farm<\/strong>. In addition, the Spanish Haizea Wind Group will produce another 50 monopiles for this 95-turbine wind farm under a separate contract.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">East Anglia Three and Navantia&#8217;s production of monopiles<\/h2>\n\n<p>May 2023, <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/windar-renovables.com\/finalizada-la-fabricacion-del-primer-monopile-para-el-parque-eolico-marino-de-east-anglia-three\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/windar-renovables.com\/finalizada-la-fabricacion-del-primer-monopile-para-el-parque-eolico-marino-de-east-anglia-three\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Windar Renovables signed a contract to deliver 95 transition pieces (TP) for the project.<\/a>\n<\/strong>. The production of these parts is mainly carried out at the company&#8217;s facilities in Avil\u00e9s.
