This upgrade is intended to equip the ship with greater capabilities for its next mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical improvements of the monopile installation vessel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Planned improvements include the integration of a DP2 dynamic positioning system, which will replace the DP1 currently in use. In addition, the company will add a heliport and expand its accommodation capacity to <strong>accommodate up to 210 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Zhongtian 39, a 215-meter-long, 51.8-meter-wide self-propelled crane vessel,  <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zttgroup.com\/news\/show-641.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was launched on October 29, 2023<\/a>.<\/strong>  This vessel has two main hooks: a full rotation hook with a capacity of 3,500 tons and a fixed stern crane with a capacity of 5,000 tons. These characteristics allow the vessel to erect <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/wind-turbine-testing-installation\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"164843\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wind turbine foundations<\/a> <\/strong>of 3,200 tons and upper parts of substations up to 4,500 tons. Source: ZTT Group<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced equipment and load capacity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vessel is also equipped with a <strong>3500 kJ MENCK hydraulic breaker <\/strong>and has a deck that can accommodate a full jacket structure or two monopiles, each with a diameter of 10 meters and a length of 120 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has been involved in offshore wind energy projects outside China, mainly through its subsidiary ZTT Submarine Cable &amp; System.
