{"id":159055,"date":"2024-05-27T15:28:10","date_gmt":"2024-05-27T19:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/petrobras-acquires-platforms-p-84-and-p-85\/"},"modified":"2024-05-27T15:29:08","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T19:59:08","slug":"petrobras-acquires-platforms-p-84-and-p-85","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/petrobras-acquires-platforms-p-84-and-p-85\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrobras Boosts Oil Output with New P-84 &#038; P-85 Platforms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Petrobras <\/strong>announced the confirmation of the final investment decision for the second stage of development of the Atapu and S\u00e9pia oil fields, located in the rich Santos pre-salt basin, offshore Brazil.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P-84 and P-85 platforms<\/h2>\n\n<p>Atapu has been in production since 2020, thanks to the P-70 floating storage and offloading platform, with an initial capacity of 150,000 barrels per day. The Atapu expansion will include the construction of a new FPSO with a capacity increased to 225,000 barrels per day.<\/p>\n\n<p>The S\u00e9pia field, which began production in 2021 through the Carioca FPSO platform, will follow a similar path. The second phase of S\u00e9pia also contemplates the incorporation of a new FPSO with the same expanded capacity of 225,000 barrels per day.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The new platforms have been designed with high-efficiency technologies to minimize pollutant gas emissions.
