The New Murabba Development Company (NMDC) unveiled last Thursday its agreement to start foundation works for the Mukaab<\/strong>, a prominent cube-shaped building within the ambitious New Murabba project<\/strong>. This contract, backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has been established with HSSG Foundation Contracting LLC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the construction of the Mukaab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was initially finalized by Michael Dyke, CEO of NMDC and Ali Korhan, representative of HSSG Foundation Contracting. The agreement symbolizes a significant collaboration between two prominent entities and reflects HSSG’s reputation and expertise in complex foundation engineering projects, which is critical to the success of the Mukaab construction<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It completion (scheduled for 2030) is expected to make it one of the most imposing structures in the world, with each of its sides measuring 400 meters (400 m\u00b3)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NMDC, under the initiative of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, was launched in 2023 with the aim of developing New Murabba as the world’s largest modern center in Riyadh<\/strong>. This development aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and focuses on sustainability, incorporating green spaces and pedestrian and cycling paths that encourage an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as community spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project will also incorporate cultural facilities such as an iconic museum, a university specializing in technology and design, a multi-purpose theater and more than 80 entertainment and cultural spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n
